Did you have an unforgettable night with a beautiful Moon that you would like to remember forever? Are you curious about how the Moon looked the day you were born? The day your parents met? Do you want to save the date of an upcoming night event? Keep that Moon very close to you with these customized lunar phases' charms: you tell me the date, I look up the phase the moon was/will be during that date in your location (can go as far back or forward in time as you might need!), and I'll craft the moon especially for you!!

♦ HOW IT'S MADE ♦

I make the corresponding lunar phase in sterling silver, then I engrave little craters and moon marks (true to the real ones) and apply black patina to create the contrast between the Moon and the sky, I can also engrave the chosen date on the back. Finally, I attach the moon to a black or red silk cord with a sliding silver clasp that will let you adjust it to your desired length.

The Under This Moon collection is my bestseller. Since I came up with the idea in 2012 I've made over 10,000 Moons! and I engrave the craters and date by hand for every single one of them because I want every Moon to be as unique as the moment you want to commemorate.

Please have in mind that soap, lotions, perfumes, humidity and chlorine can make silver jewelry look dull, or even oxidize it.
I recommend to remove your jewelry when you take a shower, swim or sleep.
If with time it doesn't look as bright as new don't panic, just contact me so I can give you some tips on how to clean it up, or ship it back to me and I will gladly do it for you.

It all depends on how gently you wear it and how often you adjust the length.

I have customers (myself included) using their silk necklaces daily already for years.

And some others write me just after a few months because the cord snapped after getting caught onto something. If that happens, no worries - you can purchase a new silk cord and I'll give you instructions on how to reattach your charm (or I could also do that for you if you send me your charm).

It depends on how much the oxidized parts are in contact with your skin/clothes. I.E., on earrings it can be very long lasting, on rings (like the black Lingerie ones) constantly in contact with your skin, the patina will be eventually rubbed off.

Some customers find the fading effect pleasing because the jewelry transforms acquiring a "personal patina" look.
Other customers prefer their jewelry to look just as new, if that's the case, patina can be re applied!

If patina has to be re applied in certain areas (moon charms) it has to be made with a fine brush and a patina solution, I can guide you through the process, or I will do it for you for free, just contact me!

Avoid showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping with your jewelry. The salt, sand, chlorine, sweat and soap can tarnish it.

Avoid using silver cleaning solutions in jewelry with patina or stones, since some chemicals can be harmful, use instead warm soapy water.

Wear your jewelry! your body is constantly polishing it and the oil from your skin protects it from tarnishing.

If patina starts to fade away don't worry, it can always be re applied, I can guide you through the process or you can send it back to me and I'll be happy to give it maintenance.

When not wearing your jewelry keep it in a closed box to prevent contact with air and humidity (avoid keeping them in the bathroom).

Keep it neatly organized so it doesn't get scratched.
